Miller de Nobili is seeking 2–3 professional dancers (all genders) for the new creation No Risk, No Future, premiering in March 2027 at HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts in Dresden. While we primarily encourage applications from dancers based in Germany, we remain open to exceptional candidates from Europe.

About the Project

No Risk, No Future explores the relationship between risk, change, and the futures we imagine for ourselves. The work investigates what prevents us from acting, even when remaining where we are no longer feels like an option. Through dance, voice, and theatrical tools, we examine personal and collective experiences of uncertainty, courage, transformation, and the consequences of choice.

We are looking for performers with…

  • A strong background in breaking and/or other street and club dance styles
  • Curiosity towards voice work, acting, and physical theatre
  • Interest in partnering and collaborative creation
  • Openness to sharing personal experiences and perspectives as part of the artistic process
  • Availability for the entire creation period

Academic training is not a requirement. We welcome applications from both formally trained and self-taught artists.
The working language of the project is English.

Rehearsal Period

The creation process will take place in Dresden between January and March 2027.
The detailed schedule will be communicated at a later stage.

Audition

The audition will take place in Dresden on 15 and 16 August 2026
The audition is workshop-based and by invitation only.

Payment / Logistics

  • Financial conditions will be provided to invited dancers before the audition.
  • Travel to Dresden and accommodation for the production period will be covered.
